We can grieve for many things that we loose in life, whether this is a marriage, belongings, pet or person. Bereavement causes great pain and sadness within and it can be difficult to deal with day to day life. People can expect you to move on after a certain amount of time, but grief has no time line and differs from person to person. Counselling gives you space to talk about your loss and the effect it has had upon your life and the feelings you are left with. There could be many scary changes to face and having a counsellor walk by your side during this turmoil, can relieve you of some of your loneliness. Together, no matter how short or long it may take, counselling can lead you to a path where your pain from your loss leads to a happier place.
